The app plays YouTube music videos just like any other type of content. That being said, a tool like MusicTube will solve all your problems. Sure, the folks over at the company have been vowing to get onto this for a while now, but we’re not seeing results just yet. While this is something that works pretty much flawlessly when you’re on a desktop computer or a laptop, it doesn’t really work well on mobile since YouTube has yet to figure out a way to have videos continue playing when you’re multitasking or locking the device. YouTube has become over the years the go-to place not only for those wanting to actually watch videos, but also for those seeking to enjoy music in the background without the hassle of putting together a playlist, downloading music players and so on.
